Basement finishing in Paramus, NJ

A Paramus basement, finished the right way

Hamlett Renovations is based in Wayne — about 20 minutes from Paramus — so we're close enough to be on-site quickly and familiar with how Bergen County towns handle basement permits, egress, and inspections. We've finished basements right here in Paramus — turning bare, below-grade space into dry, comfortable rec rooms and guest suites. Moisture, drainage, and vapor control are handled before any framing goes up.

Because it's below grade, we don't cut corners on what you can't see: before anything is framed, we check for moisture and handle drainage, vapor control, sealing, and insulation, then frame, wire, and finish to code. For the full breakdown of uses and what's included, see our basement finishing services, or how design-build works end to end. Remodeling upstairs too? See kitchen remodeling in Paramus.

Our own crew does the build.
